To promote the participation of women in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, ECREEE through the AfDBgrant is sponsoring selected Women Champions in the RE & EE sector from Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal to attend the forum with regards the Business Opportunities for Women in a Changing Energy Value Chain in West Africa.

The four Women Champions will hold Sessions on their various businesses, highlighting how to successfully navigate through the investment hurdles (i.e. barriers and challenges) in West Africa’s energy market, and debunk the perception surrounding women as risk-averse entrepreneurs.
