The Climate Change initiative of the Clinton Foundation is inviting applications from female energy professionals for its Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) mentorship program.

Formally Women in Island Energy Leadership Network, WIRE exists to connect women energy leaders from island nations worldwide for the purpose of supporting women’s empowerment in the energy sector through a women 4 women mentorship platform.

Since the launch of the Network, the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) has been working to operationalize its mentorship program and has now launched the application process for the WIRE Mentor Network.

The WIRE Mentor Network is a two-year program and will feature 20 island women: 10 WIRE Ambassador Mentors and 10 WIRE Mentees.  The selected WIRE Mentee will be paired with a WIRE Ambassador Mentor in her first year.  As a Mentee, your Mentor will work with you in developing and honing your unique leadership style. In the second year, you will become a WIRE Ambassador for a year and will be assigned your own WIRE Mentee.

Only 10 WIRE Mentees will be selected for this first round.
